What is BRD ?
What is a Business Requirements Document (BRD)?
In short, BRD indicates what the business wants to achieve. BRD describes what the software would look like from a business perspective and the business solution for a project ,including needs, expectations and the purposes.
It also contains a prioritized list of features and business requirements that the delivered software must provide.
Why we want to use BRD ?
We should make all the teams involved to understand the goals of a new project. All the teams involved should clearly understand project’s goals, budget and deliverables, and priorities.
A good BRD builds a strong connection between the business objectives and the technical solutions. Business clearly explain the goals, and all the teams involved find the best solution for deliverables

BRD Flow
1. Open a request via https://gkgtech.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portals
2. Fill all the required fields for PMO to understand your business needs.
3. At the bottom of the request form, find BRD template link, download, fill and share via request as attachment.
If you need any help, please check the sample BRD documents.
4. When ITPMO receives the request, request and BRD document will be checked with Technical Product Management.
5. If the request needs to be refined more, assigned ITPMO Team member and/or Technical Product Management will contact with Business side to help to improve the BRD.
6. A project page will be opened under ITPMO space. The finalized BRD will be added to its project page.
